I had only ever used the aluminum oxide version of this belt before so I wanted to give this one a try. Seems to work just about the same with one major downfall being water. I have no understanding why but every version of the Trizac's I've tried, if they get wet, the grit will literally fall off. The ONLY one that this doesn't seem to affect is the 800 grit Trizac aluminum oxide.

Description

Trizact abrasives consist of 3D structures containing multiple layers of silicon carbide abrasive mineral. Cloth belt constructed on a JE-weight, flexible rayon cloth backing. Resin bonded for heat resistance. Features a grinding aid for cooler grinding As the structures wear down, fresh, sharp minerals are exposed. The result is an abrasive product that cuts and finishes consistently from the beginning to the end of its life –all the way to the backing. Great for • Cobalt Chrome • Titanium • Zirconium
