The knife Makers Brand KH Knife Ovens 120V Operation The KH Series is designed for knife makers whose shops and workbenches come with a mortgage. Simply plug the KH into any standard 120V household receptacle and you're ready to go. We build our KH ovens with full stainless jackets and corner mount our hinge assemblies for long life. Our doors swing out and use cool-touch handles for comfortable operation. The controls are easy and straightforward. It's a well proven design you'll enjoy using. KH knife ovens are stock equipped with our exclusive Set-Pro three button control. We do offer the KH series ovens equipped with our optional Rampmaster control. The Rampmaster is our full featured control and appeals to those needing more than 4 stored programs or like the idea of a numerical keypad. We offer the KH in two depths: 13.5" & 18". All KH models are 6.5" wide x 4.25" high.
Artisan 688 The Artisan 688 is designed to be compact and fast. The 688 is engineered for the artist making mokume, pocket folding blades or jewelry. It's also perfect for custom jewelers and small machine shops that require heat treating for prototype or small part production runs. Artisan 688 features include our exclusive Rampmaster control, swing-out door for cool operation and cool touch handle.

KH 418 The KH 418 is designed for knife makers whose shops and workbenches come with a mortgage. Simply plug the KH 418 into any standard 120V household receptacle and you're ready to go. The KH Series takes its design from our well regarded KF Series. It's a rugged and solid design that serves the knife maker well.
KF 13.5 The KF 13.5 is our smallest model in the KF Series of heat treat ovens. It offers the knife maker an entry level oven with all the features of the 240V, KF Series line. The KF 13.5 is powerful, well designed and capable of all heat treating operations up to 2200°F (1204°C) and is available with either our Set-Pro or Rampmaster Controls.
KF 18 The KF 18 is our most popular KF Series heat treat oven. It's fairly deep design and ample power makes it a perfect fit for both the casual and dedicated blade maker. The KF 18 features a swing-out door and cool-touch handle for comfortable use, full stainless jackets and corner mounted hardware for strength and a variety of control options.
KF 22.5 The KF 22.5 is the deepest of our standard KF Series heat treat ovens and lends itself well to production and long work. As with all KF Series ovens the KF 22.5 features a swing-out door and cool-touch handle for comfortable use, full stainless jackets and corner mounted hardware for strength and a variety of control options.
KF Extreme Depth Evenheat offers the steel and long blade maker our KF Series ovens in Extreme Depths. Our Extreme Depth models include all the great features of our standard KF Series ovens like swing-out doors and cool-touch handles, full stainless jackets and corner mounted hinge assemblies along with depths up to 49.5" and dual doors for easy front to back access.
Evenheat MK 1 Blade Fixture Our MK 1 Blade Fixture was designed specifically to fit our KH line of knife ovens. They're well designed and provide ample space for foil inflation while being absolutely rock solid and stable. You won't have to work around these and they certainly won't fall over. They're like no other blade fixtures available.

KH Features Set-Pro Controller See All the Details The KH Series is most often ordered with our Set-Pro, 3 button control. The Set-Pro offers 4 programs with up to 8 segments per program. Programming is easy and not difficult to master.
KH Features Rampmaster Controller See All the Details The KH Series is also available with our Rampmaster full featured control. The Rampmaster is preferred by many heat treaters as it offers 12 programs, numerical keypad. The Rampmaster is now equipped with special alarms that indicate when process temperature hold has been reached and when it has ended. These alarms are great additions that let you know when its time to act.
KH Features Side Opening Door Working in the heat is fun, trying to avoid it isn’t. Doors that swing down throw off massive amounts of heat just below the chamber entrance. Our side hinged doors swing out to the left to keep the heat away for more cool and comfortable use. It’s an excellent design choice that makes all the difference.
KH Features Cool & Comfortable Door Handle The handle on our swing out door is conveniently located at the front of the door, not hidden along the side. This spring loaded, phenolic handle is cool to the touch, is one-handed in design and serves as the door latch as well.

These well designed fixtures provide ample space between blades and are as solid as a rock. They are like none other and you'll appreciate the performance.
KH Features Full Stainless Jacket Multi-section ovens are designed to lower production costs for the oven manufacturer. It's a worthy goal but it comes at the cost of oven quality. It’s a trade off we’re not willing to make. We build our KH ovens with full stainless jackets from front to back. Full jackets mean absolutely solid, life extending construction. There are no leaks, no shifting, no buckles and no weakness. Insist on Full Stainless Jackets for true build quality.
KH Features Corner Mounting Technique The corners of the oven body and door provide excellent strength for mounting. The flat sides of the oven don’t offer this strength. We install our load bearing hinge brackets on these corners for this very reason. Longer life, high reliability: solid design makes a difference.
KH Features Power Interrupt Switch All KH Series Ovens are stock equipped with the Power Interrupt (a.k.a. door switch). The Power Interrupt automatically removes power from all heating elements as the door is opened and reapplies power as the door is closed. The switch used for this feature is a true safety switch and is designed specifically for safety applications. The choice of this switch adds an additional level of safety and security not found in ordinary “safety” switches.
KH Features Responsive Thermocouples Our thermocouples (temperature sensors) are chosen for their quick response and reliable performance. Our standard thermocouple is a Type K. Type S thermocouples are available by request on Rampmaster equipped ovens at additional charge.
KH Features Size Options We offer our KH Series knife ovens in two sizes. Both models utilize chambers that are 6.5” wide x 4.25” tall. Model KH 414 has a depth of 13.5” and Model KH 418 has a depth of 18”. Excellent Temperature Distribution Evenheat knife ovens are true to their name and the KH Series is no different. Our designs are well known for their excellent temperature uniformity. They’re done well and you’ll appreciate the performance. Standard Household Plug The KH Series operates using standard, North American household voltage and is equipped with a standard North American household plug. Suitability The KH Series is designed exclusively for heat treating and is capable of all heat treating processes up to 2200°F (1204°C).
